Driver waiting for passengers at Place Jacques Cartier

In Vieux Montréal tourists get an old-fashioned perspective of the city from a horse-drawn carriage. At the top of Place Jacques Cartier you can see Nelson’s Column. The street is lined with little restaurants and ice cream parlours. An ideal place to try poutine (fries with gravy) and maple syrup ice cream.
