Two hours north of Montréal you find the huge nature reserve called Mont Tremblant.

As autumn is upon us, the colours are starting to turn and the park explodes in beautiful greens, yellows and reds.

Although for experienced hikers the climb to La Roche is easy and of moderate length, for the untrained (which includes myself) it proves at times steep and quite exhausting (I should really exercise more).

Unfortunately, autumn also means rain, and we ended up soaking wet.
